This Low-Impact Bodyweight Workout Will Get You Sweaty, but Won’t Wake Up the Neighbors

Fitness

Low-impact doesn’t not mean easy when it comes to workouts. Sweat app co-founder and trainer Kayla Itsines created this workout in conjunction with her new eight-week program on the Sweat app called Low Impact With Kayla, which is full of highly effective workouts with no jumping or burpees.

Itsines shared a sample of one of her low-impact workouts on Instagram, and it’s sure to still bring the heat while being quiet enough for an apartment or shared house where you don’t want to wake up your roommates. The workout consists of reverse lunge and knee ups, lateral lunges, rocking chair push-ups, plank press, ab bikes, and plank rocks. You’ll do each move for 30 seconds. You can rest for 30-60 seconds in between rounds, and repeat four times for a quick 15-minute workout. Best part? No equipment required. So grab a mat and get to work!
